Here is the info that I promised last night.
SALT CREEK: The ahtletes had a great weekend at Salt Creek. The JV boys finished second in their race, Varsity boys were fourth. Varsity girls finished second in their race. Results are available here (it looks like most of the open results are still missing, they tend to take a while to get those up).
NIKE PRENATIONALS: The schedule for Saturday is as follows. All athletes are invited to participate, but we will be traveling to this meet via parent carpool, so if athletes want to go for a particular race we do need drivers. Any parent's whose athlete wants to participate, please let us know. Any parents who can drive, please let us know availability of spots for other athletes asap so we can play matchmakers.
Directions: From Seattle take I-5 to exit 306B, and follow signs to Portland Meadows (horse racing track). It's less than a 1/2 mile from the freeway, the course is on the racetrack.
All JV athletes can participate in the frosh/soph or junior/senior race.
Varsity boys are entered in the Division 1 race.
As of right now the girls are entered in the Jim Danner Division, although there is a small possibility that we may switch to Division 1 (I will confirm asap).
All athletes should bring lots of water to drink and snacks to eat throughout the day. We may work on having a BBQ after the last race like last year, but there are also close local places to eat.
